Most body replacers include or have optional add-on mesh replacements to fix vanilla Oblivion clothing and armor so they will fit the new body shape. They often also offer mesh replacements for custom armor and clothing added by popular overhaul mods like Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, Martigen's Monster Mod, and Francesco's Leveled Creatures-Items.
Fortunately, this problem can be solved fairly easily by using the Import Graphics feature of Wrye Bash's Bashed Patch. To use this feature, you will need to place the body replacer clothing/armor plugins very early in your load order (like before UOP) and mark them with the Import Graphics tag -- BASH:Graphics. After doing this, you can \"activate\" the plugin in the Import Graphics section of the Bashed Patch config. See Bashed Patches for details.
I got the exnem body replacer for oblivion and just started using a mystic character. Exnem's mod works great except for the mystic elf race body. Shape is perfect but the texture doesn't show any detail in the upper or lower area (you know what). On tessource.net I read on the comments that there might be a download to fix this issue on Exnem's website. I've been using Exenem's Body Hair for V4 with pretty good results via auto-fit. It's basically an invisible conforming body suit with multiple options for hair attached, so it's completely UV independent and has multiple options for arm, leg, armpit, pube and torso hair. -body-hair-for-v4/109326
To be honest... I was never impressed by what I've seen on the market as most of it looks like bad fur to me... You'd far better serve yourself with a little practice and paint it yourself. It's a lot easier than you may imagine. The common thing that freaks people out with regard to body hair is... You don't have to paint every single hair on the body to achieve an effect. Body hair is not a beige or solid black line. You really are only seeing the glint off of a highly translucent fine hair which is also very high in specularity. Generally in a certain angle based on the light angle. A few small specs of light is all that is really needed to get the effect. I'm not saying this example is perfect, but it was my first effort in creating the effect... way back when I was learning how to paint hair in post.
Hello. I realize this thread is a bit old, but I purchased Exenem's body package for V4, hoping I'd be able to use it in Daz. As suggested, the material files are for Poser (mt5 format). Would you mind explaining how you manually adjusted the materials for use in Daz I'd super-appreciate it! :)
This modified race came about because I downloaded the excellent Modified Hair and Eyes 2.3 by SavageArtistry who created the original Gothic Breton head textures and modified body textures which she included in her mod. I took the files from the mod and made my own Gothic Breton for my private use. Having seen how beautiful the textures were I asked if I could have permission to release it. SavageArtistry very graciously agreed.
